GET ACTIVE Albert Einstein said "The world is a dangerous place to live -- not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it."

Advocates for Israel

Advocates for Israel champions pro-Israel advocacy and the countering  of anti-Zionist rhetoric that pervades our media and our  communities.

Major Jewish organizations regularly issue press releases condemning actions taken and words issued by people and organizations that are anti-Israel. Too often, such press releases constitute the entire scope of Jewish organizational involvement.

Therefore, we have established Advocates for Israel to:

• Provide a centralized web site and portal to educate the public about the extent of both pro-Israel and anti-Israel activity.

• Maintain a guide for establishing local, community-based chapters dedicated to Israel advocacy.

• Coordinate individual, community, and organizational activism to engage in effective PR campaigns to respond to any and all existing and new anti-Israel statements and actions.

• Provide templates for people to craft and publish letters-to-the editor in local newspapers.

• Establish a Speakers’ Bureau, making experts on Israel’s history, politics, society, and innovations available to speak in communities.

• Serve as a resource center to link the Jewish and general public to myriad Israeli accomplishments and initiatives in the arts, science, agriculture, business, and technology.

"It is vital to grasp that traditional and even mainstream Islamic teaching accepts and promotes violence. Shariah, for example, allows apostates to be killed, permits beating women to discipline them, seeks to subjugate non-Muslims to Islam as dhimmis and justifies declaring war to do so. It exhorts good Muslims to exterminate the Jews before the "end of days." The near deafening silence of the Muslim majority against these barbaric practices is evidence enough that there is something fundamentally wrong." ....
